Congrats on the new coach, looks great Greg...How long you gonna be down there. We will be racing in Phoenix in a few weeks, I could always use a hand

Al, should be in Casa Grande from feb 26 to apr some time, would really like to help! So lets stay in touch, and I look forward to seeing that great looking Cuda run!
On the CDL, 26,000 combined gvwr is the limit for no CDL. That is for a trailer and coach. My 98 is licensed at 16,000, so a trailer tagged at 10,000 would fit. My trailer was tagged 12,000 (28ft enclosed Edge) so I guess I was always illegal, but never got stopped in ten years.

Disturbd, that would be great! I will check Mn law again, but got the info with a fellow racer, a retired trooper for mn.

Jeff, golf is the same but at least I can find it, no white stuff for it to get lost in!
The Banks power system really helped out. I got around 5.5 to 6. Before, 5 to 5.5. No trailer, 7.5+ My trailer is heavy, 5500 lbs empty from the factory.
Newer rigs get a bit better mileage, like the Gerogetown. Got 7.6 to 8 all the way back from Georgia to CA.
But you can buy a lot of gas for the differance in cost
