Managed to shim/centre most rocker arms to valve tips , seems i can't get four ex rollers to centre , they sit around 1/3 over to one side of valve tip , any ideas?
Decided to go pushrod oiling on this 605" , the last time this was built i plugged the oil hole in lifter , i've now opened the oil way in gallery side to .030" , had Smith Bros make me some heavier pushrods with oil holes , do you guys plug the oil way in rocker adjuster? , seems the oil shoots straight out the top of adjuster if not plugged.
TIA.

i had the same thing happen when i went to 1.7,s for my 572-13,s. mine hung over about the same amount too.i sent them back to jessel and they corrected them. they did it by pressing in new bearings to center the arms over the tips.they said you can not just move the old bearings around, you would have to use new bearings.they did this for no charge.

Seems the roller cage is'nt centered in the ex rockers that are causing the issues ,why do these have to go back to Jesels? , i can't see why the roller cage can't be moved over 1/4" with a drift in a vice? , already removed one roller cage on a spare i have. , am i missing something?
The springs will be getting oil through the spray bar oiling.

But doesnt it have to go thru the adjuster to get oil to the rocker arm??
As AndyF said , if the oil ways in ajuster are left open too much oil will flood the top end.

Our b1 jesels oil out the top of the adjuster and cause no problem with oil pressure. Why have to use spraybar and pushrod?

i dont know why, they did not tell me.i had mine at the machine shop and they were going to move the bearings over. so i called jessel to make sure that was ok,they said not to,and to send them back to them.i thought they said they needed to press in new bearings.they totally paid for everything. i also use spray bar oiling.its on a street car.i think the spray bar helps keep the springs cool.i use k motion 950,s,they seem to be holding up well.

Managed to move the bearings over 3/8th" , they now sit centered on valve tips but hit the side of stand , will have to remove some material off the stand , maybe 1/8th". Leaving oil way in adjuster unplugged will have 16 .030" holes leaking down , would think this will flood the top end with too much oil? , i drilled the lifters @.030" , was worried any smaller could easily get blocked , maybe plug adjusters & redrill with .020" drill bit? , doing away with spray bar oiling?
