I go to watch and 2 is enough at one time... ya cant see all 4 at once... JMO but thats their dog and pony show so I guess they'll do what they want... I'm glad that place isnt close to me.... I always thought they could run 2 lanes and if they had a oil down they would move over to the other lanes.... but I guess thats not how it works

I'm sure NHRA didn't order Bruton to build a 4 lane track. IIRC, the city/county didn't want the track at all and Bruton bullied them until he got his way. Besides, so many people whine that they want drag racing to be like it was in the old days, here's your chance to go see it how it used to be. Lots of tracks used to run 4 wide. US 30 called them 'Jungle Races'. "Everybody funny, now you funny too."
