Whaaaat? - I'm not hiding anything. World aluminum block. 10.8 CR (Diamond pistons) Ported Stage-V Millennium heads Indy intake that I modified for port injection. Comp solid roller 282/286 @ .050, .700 lift. It's not even running low tension rings. MSD LS-1 coils. FAST XFI/XIM with 95 lb/hr injectors and 4500 style throttle body.

C'mon Rich now you need to pony up for a set of BLACK wheels to go along with the new pipes for the full Gangsta effect! Can't wait for the 18th to see that new bullet rip! LOL

no trick question on the LS1 harness I'm using, I have to swap the order from 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3 also just seeing if you used a 4/7 swap cam or not
I wish my motor could make than much power right at the rpm where I need it too!

Well that ought to get that little pipe rack scooting. Cant wait to see the results. Not holding my breathe for the 18th. I wont make the MATS either with the Div 7 race that weekend in AZ. One of these days I will get to see the new set up in action .That big ole Hemi in the short car will certainly look killer..I agree with Keith too on the wheels.

that really is a slick setup. not very familiar with this type of installation. do you actually run (race) it in closed loop or just use the O2 for tuning feedback and program your own maps? can that system support a knock sensor if so do you use one? didn't know if that would work thought i had heard the piezoelectric sensors may false signal on a race engine like that. what kind of pump/pressure are you using?
Good questions... I use closed loop for tuning adjustments to my base map, then run open loop during the race. Closed loop for one timing pass to adjust for the track DA and changes, then open loop is more repeatable for backet racing.
You can't run a knock sensor on any engine with a solid roller cam. Too much valve train noise confuses the sensor.
Fuel pressure is 43PSI which is spec'd by the injector that's being used.

Darren moved my ports to align closer to the carb runner positions.CFE made the intake. how much did the plates change the numbers at low lift ?
Minimal difference at <= .400 lift. I can dig up the flow numbers and post them. Sounds like you really maxed things out.
But because of the low compression ratio of this engine I actually wanted to use a smaller runner to get the velocity up. I have maxed out Hemi heads on low compression Hemis before and they turn into real slugs down low. Since I launch at 5000 RPM I wanted some torque to be there. The dyno curve shows that I guessed it just about right. Luck was with me.
