My car has 180,000 miles which may contribute to the cold weather starting problems but seemed to be ok last year but did fail at -30 one day. This morning it was probably -15 and it turned over great great and tried to start but failed, when this happens it seems like most of the cylinders flood and a couple need fuel, after jumping it it finally popped off, it has autolite platinum plugs (AP985)gapped at .050 which Napa claimed was correct. My dad ran Chapion 412 (RC12LYC's)gapped at .035 and didn't seem to have these problems, is it the plugs and gap causing this?
