I'm planning on running the Chrysler Classic points series next year in the Pro and Hopefully Ten-0-Shootout classes. I've got 2 questions though...
1) looking at the general rules it says you must be an MCG elite Access member to qualify for points.
MCG Points Series:
a. Points Series: Registration for a MCG Elite Access membership is required. Points will only be awarded to MCG Elite Access members in Quick, Hemi, Max Wedge, Super Pro, Pro and Sportsman. Points are awarded to the driver not the vehicle. Drivers may compete in more than one class per season; however points are not transferable between classes. Drivers are automatically registered for points simply by entering an event; however your points will not be awarded if you are not an MCG/CC Events member. All contestants are required to run two MCG Points Series decals available only when you become a member.
How do you gain membership?

Also, Any news on the August Event? With the job i work, i have to know a few months ahead of time to get a certain weekend off.
Thanks - Andy

MCG will have a both set up at the swap meet in Feb and the events where you can sign up. That's what I do.

As for the Aug date, no word yet. Sorry

I kept hearing Kil-Kare in Xenia, OH for the Aug. Event. But that was just speculation. I would say look for it to be the weekned after the Mopar Nationals. Really not that many race cars go to the Nats anymore. I know the last few years in Super Pro there has only been around 25 cars.

You can sign up for points at any of the events as well.
That would actually be nice if the event was at Kil Kare the week after the nats. I would just leave my car up there in OH for three weeks cause the 5000 no box races are at Quaker City on the weekend of the 22nd.
