Lately there has been quite a few in the engines section and you will most likely get one for quite a bit cheaper than doing it your self.

I had a quick look too and nothing jumps out right at the moment although in the past I have seen some really nice stuff up for sale here real reasonable.keep looking if you are not in a huge hurry and maybe post a wanted ad.

sorry i havent been able to post any pics havent made it back to upholsters shop. a company apparently sent him the wrong window weather stripping and felts hope to have some pics soon

Well, if I was in your position I would rebuild the #s matching 318. Yeah, it might cost a little but, I think it can be done a budget. The 318 in my Coronet runs well and wouldn't cost a ton to build. Just depends though on what your looking to build. Nice car and good luck BTW.

thanks i believe we have started leaning toward rebuilding the numbers matching motor and just going with a four barrel and bigger cam

Thats a good looking car

I'd be tempted to put the #'s 318 back in it.
Only dress up it with factory looking parts, like an air cleaner and thermoquad, dual exhaust and a small cam

Great project though. I never see a Barracuda with a 318 anymore.
