I finally got to work on the Dart today, between Christmas and work it's been busy around here. Some of you know I've started mini tubing my 69, the spring boxes and the shackle mounts are in so it was time to start on the wheel wells. I have to say plasma cutters are the cats meow for this stuff. It took me about thirty minutes to have them out. There is still a lot of clean up and fitting to be done, but it's a little closer. Now Starting tomorrow I have to work nine 12 hour days in a row, so it's on hold for a little while again.

The brackets that the spring rods are hooked into will be cut to fit and weld into the offset on the inner wheel well. In the photo you can see where I cut the bracket, above it you can see the offset.

Looks good so far . I did the same thing to my Dart Sport last winter. Take your time and creep up on the fit slowly and you will have nice results when your finished. When the trunk hinge brackets are trimmed up they will fit in the pockets on the inner wheel wells and will look/function like they were made to be there.
