How is the ignition handled on a 94 up magnum motor? Is it distributor or a variation of it? I know it has one, but I understand it isn't a regular ditributor, right?

looks like the distributor just distributs the spark to the distributor cap..

timing is control by the computer...

Could you use a regular distributor if your using a carb?

Yup.That's what is used on MP magnums in non injected apps.
