I'm looking at buying a few tools for some fabrication, and was wondering how useful a throatless shear is? Is it worth buying one, or a waste of money?

Thanks.

I used mine seldomly. It's great for small pieces that need tight radius but for most car fab you dont need curves that tight.I used my electric shears more.

Thanks Ron. I'll still keep it on my wish list for now, but will get it down the road.

Jeff

We have several Iron worker's and some pretty good sized tube/pipe bender's at work,,,I drool every time I see them and visualize them in my garage.

Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.

Those take up alot of garage space to use once a year. I can have big stuff like that done at work. A Tube bender is on my short list of things to buy. I have an electric shear, and iron worker. Keepm the ideas coming guys.

Thanks.
