First of all, I dont even if its called a trunk hinge spring, but its the bar that goes across and sets tension on the trunk hinges. My car has one bar..is that the problem? Most cars Ive seen have 2 bars. I have no freakin clue how to install these to make my trunk work properly. So how do I install this thing on my 71 R/T challenger and am I missing one bar? I cant even find this stupid thing for sale. So what is the correct terminology for this part? Thanks for any help.

not all but many challengers only had 1 trunk torsion bar

i do believe if you got a rear spoiler than you would have had both

71 only had one bar, I can take some pictures for you in a bit when I get dressed to go outside in the snow. The white death came last night!!
