I'm looking at a set of red line tires that are 7.75x15 and was wondering if its a simular size to what A12 cars would of came with?

simular to 215/70R15 or 205/75R15, would this be close to a G70 that an A12 would come with?

7.75X15 is a mid-'60s Corvette tire (considered a 78 series tire) ~ between 195-78-15 and 205-78-15
A12 cars recieved G70-15s ~ 225-70-15

G70 is a little taller, and the G70 is a inch wider at the mid-section and more than an inch of tread.

If those are Goodyears, the 7.75 Redstripe was for the '67 model Corvette only.

There was a conversion chart posted on moparts just last week. A12s used the same tires as HEMIs? right...F70-15 red stripe GoodYears

'69 HEMI cars had F70-15 RED streak STD & WHITE streak OPTIONAL Goodyears - period
'69 A12 cars used G70-15 RED streak Goodyears - period
