how can i tell the difference between spools that are for low gears or higher gears? also what are the different series spools that i see from different suppliers? who has the best deal on gears, spools and axles? anyone on the board sell them or have a package deal? thanks

The diff series spools, accommodate diff gear ratio's. Usually 4.56 4.88 and numerically higher gears require a diff series of spools than like 4.10 gear sets. This is due to the thickness of the ring gear, which requires the ring gear to be spaced accordingly to the pinion.

Distance from bearing stop to gear mount surface would be one way.
