Will a R1 block be marked like the R3 blocks. As in will it have R1 embossed on the block. If not what will it have as a casting number. Will be going tomorrow to look at bunch of small mopar parts and the block is supposed to be an R1 block. Thanks Brian W.

The R1 Blocks are stamped on the front of the block.

All SB race blocks have their generation logo cast in on front passengers side..... X, R, R1, R1A R2, R3, R4 Makes them easy to ID. Deck height ID takes little more effort.
