http://www.transamcuda.com/optionspage.htm only shows one green interior color available. Hope the link came through if not www.transamcuda.com go to the body/interior colors on the left menu bar. Hope this helps.

H4F8;

H - High trim class
4 - Vinyl bench seat interior
F8 - Green

The letter after the F does mean it was pretty dark. The lower the number, the lighter the shade, etc.

As an example;

E5 (red) is lighter than F8 (green) but F8 is lighter than X9 (black)

The following pics probably won't clarify much, but I really believe that the dash pad should be dark green. Darker than the lower dash.

H6F8 Cuda with a restored interior. Note that the dash pad and lower dash are almost the same color. I don't think this is correct.

Here's a T/A. Probably restored interior based on how nice the carpet color looks. Note the dash pad is darker than the lower dash.

Challenger with green cloth interior. Dash pad looks dark. Note carpet fade so it might not be a restored interior.

This Cuda has the green bench seat. Here it looks like the dash pad is lighter. The carpet is also faded, so maybe the dash pad is too?

One final picture of a T/A interior. Dash pad is darker. Probably restored.

Pad was F8, Carpet F9, panels and headliner F7.

Amazing how an unchallenged lie can become the absolute truth.

If it would help, I have an unrestored green 70 challenger dash and an unrestored green 73 barracuda dash both out of car. I could take some comparison photos. If I can reach them, the backside of my 70 challenger doorpanels are green also. (front side was painted.)

In the above pictures, I think the challenger with cloth interior looks most correct.

remember in a photo, color will vary with lighting.

I agree mine also looks closest to the cloth interior . I'm going to try some SEM on the backs of some old kick panels to night.But other photos sure won't hurt.

Here ya go, better late than never.

Bottom left of picture is the inside of the rear interior panel from my 70 challenger

Right (lower) dash pad is a 73 barracuda pad

Upper (left) dash pad is from my 70 challenger (may have been replaced/dyed in early 70's due to a bad accident)

Also shown is the inside of some metal headliner trim from my 70 challenger. (poor paint coverage)
