Guy's I am in the process of freshening the engine in the car, had another block done, and was checking everything out, and found the
intermediate shaft bushing has cracked in the block, I drove it out and it came out in 2 seperate pieces, sooooooo I am going to have to replace it.

I checked Mancini's site, and they list several one's for mopars, is there a difference in these things, or are they a one fits all deal, this is the first time I have had to replace one of these.

And another ?????? do these just drive back into the block, or is there some black magic deal that has to be done with it.

I have looked around the shop, I feel like I should have one of these somewhere, as I like to try and keep extra parts around, but haven't found it yet, so I may just have to order one.

Well as far as I know all the bushing are the same ..but once you drive it in it need to be resize or you shaft is not going to fit. they make a tool to take out and put in and resize..

i've always used an oil pump drive to size the bushing. i spin it with a speed handle and it loosens up in just a few minutes. never had any problems with them. i almost always replace it. done tens of millions of them. maybe hundreds of millions. billions?

Davey--Just put it in with a old pump drive, that way when it goes in it won't distort. Good luck Jay-------

There are two bushings,one babbit/aluminum and one bronze.AS mentioned use an old shaft to drive it in.

Thanks guy's, found one in the shop, got it installed, worked out fine, slicker than snot on a door knob, also fit the cam bearings, and got that taken care of, now it's time to r&r and back at it tomorrow.
