Where/how do you measure a convertor, in order to tell if it is an 8" or 9" ?

Everyone I have measured was over the size it was rated at...
8" measured like 8 3/8, same for a 9".... maybe they
measure the ID of the can.... dont know

I was always under the impression it was the turbins inside that are measured. Not the outside diameter.

I had a 9" turbo action and a 8" dynamic and the casings were the same size.

You get the numbers off it, and call the manufacturer.

Most are measured by the outside diameter of the shell and that number rounded off.
