With the new look of my R/T the black and white stripes just dont fit and neither does the red, orange so I called the folks at phoenix graphics and they only offered those two colors.....

However for an extra 20 bucks above the std. kit cost they let me order the stripes I wanted and also the colors I asked for.

I thought this was very cool and if the product is good, a heck of a deal.

Anyone delt with them before??? GOOD> BAD?????

77RT. I can't speak from personal experence have never got anything from them, but saw a T/A a couple years ago at the Mopar Nats that had their stripes on it. I talk to the company that did the resto. and the guy told me they were from them. I looked them over closley and I think they appear to be the closest in the material and surface texture to the originals that I still have on my car compared to other manufactures. Good Luck !!

I've delt with them, and I feel that they are A1. Seemed like a geat guy, fast service and a great price.

Sharp duster, batman...

I did the hood/fender blackout and have a t/a type scoop with the red A-12 six pack stickers but made 1/3 smaller and the phoenix people are making my new stripes in red and black for me, very nice and helpful person on the phone.

And better yet only 20 bucks extra for a special order.

Well even better I just found the box from 7 years ago when I put the current stripes on and guess who made them.....yep, it was them.

No worries now, just 10 days to wait for them.

And yes they do come off easy with a hair dryer and pulled zero paint!!!!!!!

Thanks!!!!

I'd prefere Phoenix Graphics over Performance Car Graphics.......each company has their pros/ cons,......but when it comes to actual decal quality, Phoenix is the best choice, IMAO

I needed one section of the tail stripe for my super Bee. They were great to deal with on the phone, reasonably priced, and shipped the decal quickly.

Why do you prefer Phoenix Graphics over Performance? Are the thickness of the product correct (mills)? I too am going to purchase a tail stripe next week.

James,...I've been customizing/ restoring mopars for about 30 years now, I've used anything and everything from NOS, to any repro offered over the years, while the decals that Dave Patik offers at Performance car graphics are nice, and accurate, the vynial film mat'l is just to thin and fragile,....Pheonix Graphics while offering the same accuracy, dose so on a much thicker film, feels like "factory", less chance of "stretching", or wrinkling the surface, plus I had some of the Performace Car Graphic stripes take on a permanant staining from bugs, soaps, tree sap, etc,.......Pheonix's mat'l seems to be more on par with factory style mat'l,....able to withstand abrasion, soaps, bugs, roadtar, etc,....if the stripe your gonna purchase is a reflective stripe,... avoid PCG's mat'l....their reflective is perhaps the most stain sensitive, plus kinda "blotchy" in the reflective mode!.....when it comes to dash/ instrument decals, I do prefer PCG's, because they are so fragile and thin, they look authentic when installed, they have a silk screened appearance, and while on the subject, I applaud Dave Patiks effort at PCG to offer some body and engine decals that others don't,..... the adhesive backing on some of these decals is almost non-exsistant!....I wish he would improve/ correct this!....plus the actual engine/ air cleaner decals don't seem to like the heat, they wrinkle, or shrink to quickly!.....I know it's a given with these decals, but I'd expect it over years not weeks!

Mike:

Sounds like you've got a handle on this. I'm convinced.....I'll call Phoenix next week. I was told to watch for the thickness (measured in mills). You nailed that one too. Mucho Thanks

I've had just the opposite experience. I've installed the same stripes (71 road runner strobe stripes) from both Phoenix and Performance. The ones from Performance were slightly thicker and the backing material was easier to work with. I'd only buy from Performance

While I have never used Phoenix Graphix I did try once about six years ago!

There ad reads "Any Decal, Any Car, Any Year" but when I asked them for the decals for my 1984 Omni GLH they said they didn't make them.

When I said what about your ad says is says "Any Decal, Any Car, Any Year" they hung up on me!

Thanks for the input guys. I'm still leaning towards phoenix for the 74 RR decals I want. I've yet to talk to anyone else who's actually bought/installed these decals yet tho.
