I'm looking for a 1970 Challenger 4-speed Console and would like to know if the 4-speed console for 71 and up will work....or is it 1970 only ?

Thanks
Mike

Hello, the 70 console had provision for the seat belts to be stored in the back where the ash tray is at on '71's & up. Physical size, they are the same. Take care, Jeff

the 70 top plate also only uses 4 screws and all the later ones are 5 screw. In short the 70 console is unique.

Take care,

There's new repops of the 70 4spd console & top plate available new. Try Dante's or Jack's. Maybe Mike at BE&A has them, too. I've also got a nice original that I'd sell. PM me if you're interested
