What would be a normal or commonly found stamped date on a 3 speed wiper motor barrel for an A12 car with a 426 build?

A12, if the scheduled prod date of that car is 4 26 it seems odd that the date code on the motor is May 19th, 69. It is passed the date of the car. Any other date codes on the car to confirm this? Jules
A12's were a different animal. There were only 2 dates put on the fender tags, 3/29 and 4/26. Production of these cars went well into June/69. I have 302xxx, a late built car and many original items including the wiper motor (restored mint by Jules I must add, lol) are dated first week June/69. My original motor EAD was dated 6/13/69.
The wiper motors were pretty consistent with 1-3 weeks prior to an extimated production date finale such as K frame or motor EAD.
Depends how accurate you want to date it, but I would think your car would have 0909 to 1109 being an early to mid vin number 4/26 tag car.

Jules, as Rick pointed out with the two "scheduled" A12 production dates they used those dates as target dates and then Fleet Engineering tried to slide in as many "package" cars into any production line openings as possible. Chrysler originally only planned to build 1,000 A12 package cars and used those two SPD's as the starting point but as we all know now they made just over 3,300 Bee's and RR's with the A12 package and not on the two SPD's of March 29 (329) and April 26 (426). As Rick said they were built well into June '69. My 426 SPD A12 rr was built around May 7th-May 9th and it has a VIN of 9A270XXX and a K-frame with 120 9 1 (120th day, '69 1st shift) which is April 30th as you know. http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/custom.html?year=1969&country=1&hol=1&doy=1
The "package" cars were not in normal sequence or even close in some cases, just a targeted possible starting point for feeding them into the production line by Product Planning and Fleet Engineering.
If the OP would have asked about any other car than an A12 the wiper dates may make more sense but check out the VIN's of all of the known registry A12's with either a 3-29 or 4-26 Scheduled Production Dates (SPD) and it is quite a spread..... http://sixpacksixbbl.homestead.com/registry.html
Jules, maybe with your knowledge and info you can put a better spread of dates on the wiper motors for the 3-29's from 9A239XXX and then the 4-26 to 309xxx SPD's? Thanks
