we changed doors,fenders ,hood, lexan windows all around and bumpers and saved 400# hope this helps

I think the bumpers, glass and hood will make the most diff. The stock fenders really don't weigh all that much. Now the doors...lol. I took out the crash bar and saved 15 lbs per side.

The front bumper on my '71 weighed either 25 or 28 lbs.

I forget.

The front bumper brackets are the real boat anchors!

Friends car - Small Block Stroker
Glass fenders, hood, trunk, front and rear valances, and dash. Steel front header panel, steel doors (interior braces removed), steel bumpers. Fiberglass REAR qtr panels. No lexan windows, all glass - door windows still roll down. 8-pt cage. Mini tubbed.

Car now is under 3100# in street trim - 11.00's motor, 10.0's w/200Hp NOS






My old Cuda - 1-piece frt end, glass doors, hood, trunk, valance, bumpers, lexan windows, aluminum dash, 9" w/ladder bars. Big block w/procharger.

2650# + 200# driver - 9.40's w/13psi boost (alcohol)
