The biggest problem I see with this swap is the constant nagging from the neighbors for all that smoke coming from the rear tires theyre gonna be choking on ..................

its supposedly built....440 ported and polished heads,509 mopar cam,trw pistons .30 over.roller rockers.edelbrock performance rpm high rise intake, tci build transmission,2800-3000 stall converter, some where along that line

I would degree the cam before you install it! that cam loves advance from straight up spec and hates retard form straight up spec. the straight up spec is 106 intake install (max lift or intake centerline) I would put it at 102 with that TQ and less than 10.5 to 1 compression.

Flow bastards are noisy I would go with Dynomax ultra flows and an X pipe!

According to BigBlockDart.com its very possible to use run of the mill 1 3/4" headers on a 383/400 in an A body. Not on a 440 but a 383/400.

Keep old mopars alive.

Supposedly it's Hedmans only and certain part number.
