Any difference between the 452 and the 902 heads?
Thanks!

452's came with hardened valve seats for unleaded gas. The port shape is a little different between the two but flow is basically the same. One of the mopar mags flow tested an assortment of stock heads, ported them and flow tested them again, the results for both castings were pretty close. 906's are just more valuable to the #'s guys because the 452's were a mid 70's head.

If i'm not mistaken, the 902s had hardened seats, what i was told is its basically a 906 head with hardened seats, it was a 72 model yr. head.

I'd say virtually identical. I just acquired a '74 (my) 400 w a mid 73 build date out of a truck & it had 902 heads.

Right, right. Somehow when I looked at it I saw 906.

not sure if your going B or RB engine..the only thing I would worry about is using closed chamber heads...

452's and 902's are both open chamber heads.
