Today I got the Grille,frt bumper and lamps back in the car and I was feeling froggy so I took it out for a maiden voyage. I went to the gas station and got some gas...

Then I went to the auto parts store and got some bulbs for the side markers and the license light.Car was running good so I decided to take it home ,which is a 40 mile drive.Car ran great and tomorrow I will wash it and get the buffing compound out of all the gaps and nooks and crannies!

Hey Joe, I am writing @ Richmond collision on Broad street. Yeah dads car is almost finished on the outside, I will have to paint the engine bay after I yank the engine. Body came out looking good and I drove it today.It was hard to believe how bad the fumes were in the car just because of no trunk weatherstrip.I put the seal in and no more fumes!! I guess another drive tomorrow is on tap,supposed to be 75 here tomorrow.Here is a pic from today,I finally put soap and water on it and washed off the buffing residue.

Well,It is / was done in time for Carlisle and we all went and had a blast driving the car and hanging out with you guys!! Dad had a great time and we discovered the car definitely needs the disc brakes installed ASAP!! here is a pic of it on the showfield with dad sitting behind it just like I pictured it a little over 2 years ago.NOW we can get started on the 69RR,especially since I picked up a great deal on some much needed parts while at Carlisle.

Great job on the Sport Satellite. Those before pics take me back about 20 years to when my brother got his 68 Sport Sat. Looks identical in those pics (faded color and all) except his had body color wheels and center caps.

Nice car, I seen it at Carlisle and at the car show Thursday night in Carlisle, I didn't realize it was yall's. I had my white 68 Sport Satellite there also, don't know if you saw it.
