anyone know how to unplug an aluminum radiator? a few of the bottom rows on the return side are plugged with mineral/calcium deposites.
called becool and they were no help.

we flush w/ compressed air and water. if that doesn't get it clean, they can be cut open and rodded, which often times costs close to what a new one would cost.

is there some kind of an acid that could be put in momentarily to eat away the build up?

maybe vinegar? i wouldn't use any thing stronger than that.

do ya think CLR would do anything? meratic acid?
