Fred is one funny mofo, I've pitted close to him in the past, and have even spoken to him a couple of times. Never really introduced myself. (I'm somewhat shy in person) He is one ok in my book

Tony , it's funny that you brought that up just now. The car has always gotten a great deal of fan attention at my local tracks. I guess it never dawned on me at home the car is an Atco regular and is seen quite often and far from a rarity . On the road it's a whole different deal. Maybe at times tenfold that of the size of the crowds at home. At Zmax when the Duster and Monza pulled into the bleach box I could see prople runing to the rail to watch the pair make a pass. All day my pit is buzzing with stories and memories of days past that are Duster generated. I have more than three times the usual enjoyment just sharing stories related to my car.
The fact that track closings plus the weather have dominated this road trip hasn't increased the negatives.TODAY I am about 500 miles from home and in what looks like Seattle weather but smiling.
I drove here in 10 hours and will need another 6 to get to Darren's house. Since I will be near new tracks to me why not stop in for a pass ? tomorrow a visit to Nascar and Kook's headers then off to Darren Tedder's to dyno the 605.
I have added to that part of the trip a visit to at least two local tracks at which mr. DTHEMI will become the guest pilot of the S&M Duster for a few passes.
So far it's been enough of a blast to initiate plans for another road trip later in the year and Orlando Motor Speedway will be one stop.

How does "HEMIFRED AND THE TRAVELING PIMP DOLL TOUR sound for the trip name ???

sounds good to me but I would go to SGMP or gainesville over Orlando. why don't you come down to SGMP in May? we will all be there if nothing comes up. that would be a blast. and I we have a lady friend that wanted to meet you when you were in Daytona (thats when I broke my foot )I think shes hot on the old geezer

You or your car cannot be mistaken, last time I saw you was @ raceway I went to you , and complaint about my car runnig 3 tenths slower than it did @ Atco the week before, and you told me you were running slower also, and how Atco was a faster track.

Sweet to hear your planning a trip south....OSW would be a great stop (don't understand why it gets bashed so much) I have always had a great time racing there and never a problem getting down the track.

I'm sure any track here would be more than happy to have you....IRR would be killer too....I bet you and Ralph Hester would definitely hit it off

Bradenton would be cool also as would Gainesville and I'm sure "Big Daddy" would appreciate a visit as well.....OK, got it planned out for ya, when you leaving

Just called track and ofcourse it is a wash out today. What a weekend. between working weekends and bad weather I just can't seem to get back on the track.

On top of that I have some flooding issues at the house. It has rained for more than 24hrs straight.

Fred, where are you at? in Greensboro?
I am about 40 minutes away from greensboro so I am not sure I would be able to get that way once I get some of the water issues taken care of, but I might try.
