Valvebodies for 727's are basically the same from 1966 up until they went with a lockup torque converter in 78? The big difference is if the VB has a part throttle kickdown assy or not. They will interchange. I don't remember the exact year they went with this, but it was around 77 or so. The other possible difference would be the "rooster comb" which operates the neutral switch. Early, it was only a neutral switch, single terminal. Late, it was a 3 terminal switch which also operated the reverse lights. Pat

4130495 dates from the '79 era, if it's a non-lockup VB it can be used in earlier units.
