I used the blue. It turned out pretty good and touch ups blend right in. It's also pretty tough...

I used the silver, looks good but hard to keep from having brush marks in it.

I used the black on mine. Did it with a sponge brush. I thinned it a little with zyolen(SP)to get the look I wanted. Used less than a quart for the whole cage.

I used a car wash sponge, and cut it to smaller strips, and cut the hammer tone with some reducer, and a splash of automotive clear hardener. Dries faster, and is very durable.

I like the looks of that hammer tone stuff... I did
my chassis with high gloss black with a clear coat
but I like the brighter colors now

Perfect timing. I'm getting ready to paint mine. I like the hammertone idea. Did you guys use primer first, or just go w/the paint?

I poweder coated mine with hammer tone looks greate (yes I called Pat at the NHRA first) only draw-back with powder coating is it's hard to touch-up Charlie so beware if you use it.

i used the hammertone spray, real hard to get it to flow consistantly,im going to redo it with a brush.the car has the full interior in it and you cat get a decent spray pattern.

I used Dupont wheel paint. It has held up real good so far. Mine is a real light or bright silver and it hasnt scratched or chipped yet.
