I am looking to order a flywheel, starter etc. and have just purchased a Quicktime-RM6077 bellhousing (T56 to Hemi/RB). Quicktime say the flywheel I need is a 130 tooth version.
Questions:
1. What diameter is 130 tooth?
2. Can anyone recommend a high-torque/mini-starter to work with this combo?

thanks,
Darren

Which measurement do you want? To the shoulder where the ring gear mounts or to the outside of the ring gear. All the different size Mopar ring gear flywheels only come in one diameter for each tooth count. The 426 Hemi motors came with three different production flywheels, 172 or 170(?) 143 and 130. The large ones(170 or 172?) had a different bellhousing and used a direct drive starter, the 143 tooth had its own bellhousing and a gear reduction starter like all the other Mopar trans and motor combination and the 130 tooth used a different bellhousing also.

The 130 tooth is the standard 10.5" flywheel. Chrysler "standardized" this in 1970 and up. There were the oddball 10.95", but they used the 10.5" wheel as well.

As for a starter, you can't go wrong with the regular ND Jap starter. Those are damn near bulletproof. Mancini sells new ones that are pretty reasonable.
