I know that this was covered not to long ago but I'm not smart enough to find it again. I want to know how you guys set your valves with a long duration cams. Thanks alot, Clint

Rotate the motor over until the exhaust valve just starts to open, set the intake valve lash Rotate the motor over again until the intake valve opens all the way and starts to close(1/3 to 2/3 closed) and then set the exhaust

sorry to hi jack but is it the same for short dura. cams as well or could you exp. how to do that thanks

That method works for all cams, no matter the size or duration, hydraulics are a little different but very near the same
