I want to change my throttle cable over to a throttle rod and would like to keep my stock pedal but if I have to change over I will. So who has there's done?

Jeff, we did it for about a year, I never did like it and I got a superstock cable off e-bay, came with raised brackets and fit like a glove and it works great. Harold has mechanical on their Duster, but it seemed to me He had to relocate his gas pedal also.

My previous car had a stock gas pedal with an arm attached to it that went up the firewall, it had a rod attached to it with a pin that went to the carb. It worked great, was adjustable, and never ruined a race day like my Lokar cable did this past Friday, which I admit I probably had adjusted way too tight to achieve full throttle.

Thanks Dan and Bob. I am looking at installing a throttle stop the main reason for the rod.
