My rubber transmission mount is shot on my 727
What should I replace it with?
A new rubber one or something else?

What is the rest of the mounting (front engine plate,
mid plate)?

I have a motor plate and a fore/aft limiter.
My rubber bushing is so shot that the transmission
is hitting the crossmember when I drive down a rough road

put back the rubber mount, just get a new one. no replacement for a rubber or poly trans. mount. i just replaced my original mount on my 63 plymouth.

Are the rubber bushings more forgiving then the poly ones?
Seems like the poly would be better, unless it puts more stress on the tailshaft.
If that is the case I will just get a rubber one
Cheaper anyways.
