I am freshening my engine ( steel rod 440, ARP bolts ) and am wondering if it is necessary to resize the rods when I replace the bolts? I am not looking to save a few $... the bearings look nice, the caps fit square and I would rather not have them machined again if it isn't necessary. What do you think?

bolt them together, torque to spec, check them for size and roundness. make the call from there.
