ootb rpm heads, 84cc
.540 lift flat tappit hydraulic 250/263 @ .050
rpm intake
biggs stage 3 850 dp
MSD 6al, msb billit distributor & coil

Dana 60 with 3.73s
MT drag radials 325-50-15
Caltracs, split monos, Rancho 9 way, CE's up front

Timing is 16* initial, and 36* total, all in by 2200.

Jesse (BIGGS) built the carb for my engine.

81/89 jets
4.5 power valve primary, none on the secondary.
.037 primary/secondary shooters
50cc pump on primary, 30 on secondary

If I shift it at 5700 or so, seems like it's breaking up. Best at 5700 so far is 7.31 in the 1/8.

If I shift at 5000, seems strong, no sputtering or missing, and actually picked up a solid 10th, went 7.20.

Right now I have an Aeromotive oump, rated at 90 gph. Should I maybe step to to a 140 or 150 gph pump?

Before changing anything figure out what is causing the miss, it could be ignition, valve springs or fuel supply. The easest (IMO) thing to try is the jets, fatten it up to see if the miss goes away or not. It is very unusual for a fuel supply problem to cause a miss in first and second gear, usually shows up in high gear near the finish line in the 1/4 Valve springs will miss at a certian RPM, just like bad ignition and or spark plug wire miss

big motor, small heads, small cam, you probably should shift lower than 5800 anyway
