going to head back out today I think. solved a few problems (which were self inflicted like I thought). you guys will get a laugh out of what I did the carb hesitation was my fault also, I had removed the intermediate bleeds when trying to figure out the stock metering plates. and forgot to put them back when the billet blocks came in. although I still don't understand that circuit at all. I thought the billet blocks eliminated the intermediate circuit all together but I guess it doesn't from what quick fuel told me. ok on to the funny part, car wouldn't shift. I found 2 problems, the Eshift is new to me. the controller needed 2 12 volt feeds. 1 on the imput and 1 on the output side. for some reason I only had 1 on the imput I thought the other was for something else I wasn't running. once I figured that out it still wouldn't shift right. to make a long story short I have a reverse pattern shifter and the Eshift is forward pattern and totally forgot about that needles to say I was doing things bassackwards anyway while talking to Paul and explaning what was going on we figured it out and laughed for about 5 minutes. chalked it up to old age

so I am pretty confident it will go down the track now. they are doing testntune (boy could I use sixpackgut ) and also a 6.50 and a 7.50 index race. if we fall close to either I will see if we can upgrade the tnt.

So did you put other shifter in the car or what did you do about it ? I did't think you would get on here and tell all !

hay I have no fear no it doesn't need another shifter. it shifts itself just has to be in the correct gear to start with. it's a real automatic you put in drive and let it do it's thing.

Why don't you try your "shifting into reverse a bunch of times" theory instead of using your brakes during your test session and see how that works out for you. Mike
