I am finally able to take a minute to say I had a great weekend racing at Norwalk with dad and Lonnie.

I had a new best by more than 2 tenths. The car went 9.51 at 142 with a 1.33 60'. The picture taken there will be my new sig pic as soon as they come in. I didn't win a single round of competition, but was close and screwed up entering info into my delay box that cost me a certain win light.....won't make that mistake again.

I also met a lot of Moparts members and seen a few I haven't seen in years. All in all a fun weekend. Now trying to make the decision to attempt to run the Monster mopar weekend since they are calling for steady rain almost all weekend.

Smoldering is an understatment.

When I saw it it had a full blown fire in the cab. I drove the driver (I think) down to the staging lanes to get first aid at the ambulance.

It was warmer this year than it was in 2007.

He is a friend of Mine, Steve Lucas, His fuel pump gave out, He was trying to get it started and moved out of the way so he was pouring gas down the throttle body and it backfired and blew the bottle out of his hand. Steve is a great guy and I was sorry to see this happen. Ron Baker towed back to Columbus and was calling Steve to see if He left yet and when He found out He came back and towed the Trailer with the Stocker back and Steve got a tow truck for the RV

Me and the camera just didn't hit it off last weekend.

I wondered if that was you, you looked like Lonnie a little and your wife had that Texas draw,lol With everything going on I didn't get to thank you,but I really appreciate your help. Tell your wife thanks. Steve's wife is a nurse so he was on the phone to her and we kept him packed in ice and He got to the doctor on Monday.

That weekend looks like a ton of fun. I think I'm gonna put in for leave that weekend and come up there next year. There seems to be a lot of guys from the south traveling to that event.
