I know there are right and left torsion bars, but I've heard different thoughts on if there is a front and rear to a bar. Anyone have the truth?

Thanks, Bill

I don't believe so, but if there are still paint markings on the bars...those markings origonally went twards the rear.

there is not front and rear, just preferences about PNs on front and rear.

Try to image bolt with a nut in place of a T bar. fit the bolt head on crossmember and nut in front. you will tight nut CW. Now fit reversed with nut on crossmember... you still will tight CW the bolt.

The other side is the same with CCW thread.
