A friend just bought a set of almost new slicks mounted on nice rims. How should he store these slicks if he will not need them for a year or more?? Thanks, Max

I inflate mine to 20lbs(I use tubes) and store them in heavy mil black plastic lawn bags.I have a pipe that is on each side of my workbench that they hang from.I used to just store them in the bags standing on the tread, but would rotate them when I remembered to.

I also armor all the sidewalls, but everyone will say not to do it,I do as a suggestion from a Firestone rep many years ago.

A friend who races circle track says it's important to keep the temperature steady. Someone else said to seal them up. So we bag ours in big garbage bags and store them in the basement. Seems to keep them pretty well.
