Sounds like a bucket list. Been to the Indy 500, but Bonneville is still on my list, Oshkosh air show, Reno air races (P-51s), F1 race, Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, see Nessie in Scotland, have lunch with the Dalai Lama in Nepal, catch an ivory billed woodpecker in the Ozarks, ride a yak in Mongolia, etc. I think that's all that's left.

At least we saw an honest to god race between Ashley and Robert. I was sure that Hight would smoke the tires at the 100' mark since Ashley was only 1 point out of the lead.  All John needed to do in his ESPN interview the other night was answer a simple yes or no question. He never did give an answer, just a lot of spin. He claimed the NHRA cleared him of throwing the race. NHRA did not clear him, they said they could not prove reasonable doubt. There is a huge difference.

Kasey, have you forgotten who is putting the show on ESPN2? It ain't John Force and it isn't edited by NHRA before showing, it is the parent channel of ESPN  And we all know who that is ,correct  Tony started the incident by calling John out at the finish line, John responded and the whole world has had to much of it now, I agree with you on that. Now maybe one of your other heroes will streak the 1/4 mile at Pomona to get some air time, who would you like to see do that   Besides Angie Mcbride

Thank God someone invented the DVR....
Had to FF through all the commercials and JFR crap because there was NO WAY I was missing the TF and FC 4 wide!
Would have been awesome to be there for that!

I agree. Plus I always go to drag race central to see the round by round result as it happens anyway. Ever since the Force Propaganda Parade has been happening since week 2(I believe), they have been showing less burnouts, less engine and driver shots, less "other" racer interviews. Thank goodness there are only 5 races left. I wish the ADRL, TOPMA, ORSCA,NMRA,NMCA, and several others would have a channel totally dedicated to the Sportsman racers. There actually are other types of racecars than T/F. LOL

I met shirly when i was about 12 years old at the IHRA world finals at norwalk. We were in the staging lanes, walked over by her and said Hi, she just scowled at us with that nasty looking face of hers and walked away. Im sure if a camara would have been around she would have been signing our T shirts. That's my shirly story, she is a biitch

I too meet Shirley when I was 12-13, I am and stimm am a big fan of hers cause she speaks her mind, anyways, i walked over too her in scribner Nebraska, asked her to sign my coat, and hat Cha Cha, She got Pissed with me, and she understood I was a kid who just stuck my foot in my mouth, she told me she doesnt sign that anymore, but did anyways. I apolojised for that, and she was cool, but BOY from her stirn look, and nasty glare, I could tell she was/is a B!tch.
I still admire what she has done a a racer, just like I do with John Force.
I can be an ass too if ya piss me off..

I saw Shirley put a cigarette out on the side of one of the Pro stock cars at the Winternationals in the mid 1970s She was qualified at #13 and it was right at sundown on Saturday, NHRA had said that they would try and allow one more qualifiying run for T.F., they didn't get thru Pro Stock in time to allowed that so they announced that the staging lanes where closed to all cars except the remaining Pro Stock cars. She stormed off and snuff the cigarrette out on the passenger side of the car deliberately, what a C  nt. She is a prime example of why men should have never let women vote, let alone drive or work
