Track championship, at my local track, in the n/b class, and it is especially gratifying for me, as I am a die hard foot brake racer.
I have put every minute of time I had, into this deal this season, just to see if I could do it again, compete and win against those guy's with the 2-steps, transbrake cars.
I have had a good season so far, won the SSS Championship, and last night won the track championship to go with it, it was a very interesting points battle, was close all season long, between myself and 3 other guy's, and it wound up last night, I got hammered in the 4th rd, had a .513 and a dead on run, and got beat with a .003 dead on pass, so all I could do was sit and watch and see how the other guy next to me did, he was still in, and won the next rd, which put him within 1 rd of tying and he needed 2 rds to win it, but he went red the next rd, so it was over, we shook hands, and congratulated each other, and were both glad it was finally over.
Thanks Dave

Davey, Congrats, good job. I felt like if you just had a chance, you could acomplish both goals. To the rest of y'all, I raced with Davey at Middle Tenn Dragway in the late 80's and early 90's, and you will not find a more stand up, humble guy. A class act all the way, and a die hard Mopar man forever. A tough competitor on the track, but the first one to lend a helping hand off. Brian Dunnigan

I'll bet you were a little more "glad" than he was! Congrats, track championships are hard to come by.

Thanks for the kudo's guy's. I have worked my tail off this season, going after both of the deals at the race track. Never thought I could pull it off, but lady luck helped me a bunch. Brian D thanks for the kind words, that goes both way's for me also. Thanks Dave
