has anybody tried t&d 1.7 rockers on indy sr heads? i now have 1.6 indy rockers, but will be buying new t&d,s.the 1.6,s fit with no grinding, but they are close.i would guess the 1.7,s would need alot of grinding.i'm getting close with my 500" build, just need to wrap up the rocker issue.which to buy 1.6 or 1.7?

Should be ok with the T&D's as long as you dont have 1.625 diameter springs

I have T&D 1.65 rockers on my SR, I did have to grind some off the top of the pushrod tunnels are, I can ' rememberexactly how much sorry It wasn't a large amount if I am rembering correctly but the 3/8 pushrods did not clear with out the grinding Mock the ones you get and plam on removing some material
