bcrproducts super gas Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 1,279	Cross bolting the stock block actually weakens the block and can cause create stress risers in the area that you drill the side of the block. You can't compare a B or RB to a Hemi which had a different casting/core box when created with extra material to make that setup work. Been done many times on B R/B but the setup time to do this is very expensive at the shop level and has been proven to not be as effective as just aluminum caps and or a girdle setup.
