Iron headed small block, headers, aluminum intake, 727 trans, 8 3/4, all metal body, big chrome bumpers, full interior. My '76 Dart is 3,400 without driver. A bodies aren't always that light.

I know, I can't believe it weighs that much either. I've weighed it many different times and places. Always 3850-3890 depending on fuel load. All OE equipment in dash including a/c evaporator and heater.It's amazing that it's gone 11.05@124. Doug

I weighed the exhaust when I took it off and it was 52 lbs, so I guess now race weight, all it, is about 3530. Full cage, two poly seats, all factory glass, wiper motor removed, carpeted interior.

I just weighed my car on individual intercomp wheel scales that had just come back from being certified. 71 Dart 3240 pounds w/out me. 383 w/ iron heads, 727 and 8 3/4 rear. 8 point roll bar Full interior, bucket seats front & rear bench. Aluminum radiator. Late model starter. Light weight alternator. Fiberglass front bumper and hood. Wilwood brake calipers. Heater core removed. Light weight wheels & tires. Fuel cell.
