I finally got my junk out for a spin tonight and the line lock seems to have failed. I can hear the solenoid activate when I press the button but she won't hold the binders on. Its a hurst unit.

Any ideas as to what's happening?

Is the one you have servicable? (can you take it apart and inspect the insides) If so take it apart and look for debris in between the seat and the pintle or look for rust on the seat or pintle, it should clean up and hold after that If it is not serviceable you will probally have to buy another one unless you can use some brake cleaner and air pressure to try and clean the insides out

Take the pintle out the bottom. You will find the O-Ring split. Clean the bore of the debris and replace the O-Ring. I've been down this trail more than once.

I'll check if can service/replace the o-ring. If sucessful, is a full bleed required or can I get away with the fronts only?

If it is dual master cylinder you can proabally gravity bleed the fronts only successfully. IE fill the master cylinder with brake fluid and open the right front, keep it open until it starts to leak fluid steadily, once that side is done do the other

I've bled them right at the line lock. The bottom side of the circut won't lose any fluid. If you depress the brake pedal 1" before you take it apart it won't drip much fluid from the master as the internal ports of the master cylinder will be blocked. Put it back together hold the pedal down and crack the line at the line lock.
