Who has the highest quality one piece scoop and hood ?
Who do the SS/AH cars use?

All or most of the SS/AH guys use carbon fiber. If you are looking for glass, I would highly recommend AAR fiberglass out of Florida. I had their taller Hemi scoop on my Cuda, when it had the B-1 motor in it, and it went 159 mph with no flexing/bulging. The quality is excellent.

AAR hood s are not one piece. By far the absolute best repo of the 68 SS hood is by Jim Kramer. I bought on in the late 90's and it was identical to the real one I had. It was truly a piece of art work.

I have Kramer's site saved and was over there the other day.
I couldn't find the 68 carbon fiber hoods?

I prefer the hood and scoop separate. It cuts down on the
size of carburetor to hood pans.

Mine was as heavy as the Unlimited already on the car. I agree they USED to be mint. I personally held one that was beautiful and light as heck. They tried to pawn off a glass one, with a layer of carbon fiber. Far as I'm concerned, they still owe me $130 in freight.

You might check with Barton to see if he has one to sell. Someone posted he had to change hoods at Indy. Maybe the scoop was too tall or?
