Pat, a piece of sheet metal bent up to deflect air onto the rotor helps that alot(just like the nascar boys, if you notice the cooling slots there isnt anything bringing in any air(really those slots are for 2 things, cooling and letting off gases from the pads)

Those things will crack soon if you're not careful. Swap them over to the other side. I'd look into them being re-surfaced if they're not too warped already. AL..

Also those are Strange rotors with Wilwood calipers. Who's and which pads are you using. I use Strange TAN/SOFT with their rotors. And Wilwood Smart pads with their rotors.
Also if the Strange rotors were turned, the arrows could be gone. Don
