get over it,holley 750 vacum sec , seems to work best,no problems here,maybe something in the the air in HA. Thermoquads are the thing of the past,unless you are looking for mileage, and to get from A to B. lol

if you know your stuff you can make a thermo quad a 750cfm with tons of power and decent mileage

Sorry, I still beleive a holley with the right intake is the way to go,this is what makes this world tick,if we all agreed on the same thing, we all be a lot of boring S.O.B 'S . Everyone to there own ,besides the east coast sucks to set up anything ,especi ally the last 2 years,we are still in a late spring or early fall.!!!!doesn't change ,weather sucks!!!

the 750 edelbrock on there now works great,,,I'm just tryin to keep the truck as close to stock as possible,,,,now when a 440 goes in the duster,,,,it wont be gettn a TQ thanks for the research

I've seen a lot of Thermoquads on ebay, but not very many 6545's.
There was a 6545 a few weeks ago on ebay, but it went for $112.50.

easy way to spot a 6545 TQ is that they will have only 3 vacuum ports on them, 1 for the PCV, one for the spark advance, and 1 for the choke pull off. The center phelonic black section will not have any ports on it, as well, the top cover will not have any ports either. in my opinion, it is one of the better carbs to find, because it lacks all of the emissions B/S on it. oh and with the aftermarket carbs ive had trouble wit holley and what im buying for my 79 is a demon 750 but still for the money TQs are cheap
