Yes this is going to be rwd conversion, and will be back halfed and tubbed. need to get a front suspension sorted out first.

is this a tube frame deal? My car has a FE from Alston, they make it for both round tube and square tube. It's an A-arm setup with a pinto style rack.

Thank you, that would be sweet,We know that there has been conversion's done, but don't know were to start, or the most economical way to do it.

When I built mine in 2002 I use an A arm pinto style ft suspension . This style suspension really makes it easy to work on Plugs ,starter, headers etc. The headers had to be made, but worth in the end. See if i can find some pics for you.

Thinks Jim and Paul... I haven't got the motor out yet to look things over, but its going to be a interesting build. Here is what I'm starting with.I'll wait for some pictures and then I would like to ask you guys some questions.
Thank Walt

Id like to see pics, so ill try to keep it alive!
I been looking at my Avenger, It would be a plus to keep the stock Strut front end. It is plenty wide for a tall deck, and weight diff should be much more than a factory I4/transaxle, over a all aluminum 557 inch mill Setting it back as far as possiable, then as someone else mentioned (FastMop) it would be more like a back half, with added trans tunnel...... Here is a few pics of my buddy's Conquest (he is also a memebr here) car which should be typical front strut suspension on any tube chassis car

ok...just wanted to let you know I finally got the motor out.now my question is...what would be a good set up so I can leave the strut towers in the stock location. I was thinking a strut and spindle set up to go in the stock location. I found a website called bears performance...can anyone tell me if they have good stuff. Thanks
