Has anyone tried this Cool Can and are they worth the trouble ??? It suppose to be a 3/8" inlet/outlet,Wondering if that is ID or OD ??? I am running a BG 400 Fuel system and have a # 10 line running to the front.. didnt know if the smaller inlet was going to restrict my fuel ??? Any Input ??? http://www.jegs.com/i/Moroso/710/65125/10002/-1

THe 3/8's fittings are NPT sizes. You probably have the same fittings in your pump and regulator as they are pretty much the standard size IIRC.

I'm still running one.. I thought about taking it off with the new pump and regulator with the return but figured it was there why not leave it.

complete wast of money
Made absolutely no difference. I took it off and gave it away. I would have felt guilty selling it.

I guess at the time, I wasn't running a return line, so I had vapor locking proplems. After put it on I just never thought about it. I never did back to back tests.

It's a bandaid rather than a performance part.

I have to agree, we used to run one on our 68 Dart. they are old school. The vast improvements with carbs, radiators, water pumps and electric fans these days cool cans just arent worth the money or hassle. In fact I cant even remember the last time I saw one being used.

With todays return style systems and return logs, it a obsolete part.

Me too, so can we now put this in archives and bury this idea in the 60's with Woodstock?

But any merit might be if you are jetted too lean, cooler denser fuel may help, but a jet change is the proper solution, and if you are right on on jets, cooler/denser fuel will be a negative

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
