Hi does anyone know of a easy way to repair a striped out accelerator pump squirter knozzel hold down screw ?
it is a very odd size 12-28 inch , checked helicoil web sight they do not have a listing for a repair of that size .
has anybody had this happen to them what should i do ?

Local carb shop , AED< in Richmond Va uses a 12-24. says it is close enough. The screw feels a little tight going in , but the 12-24 does work.

The link below is to BLP, which is Bo Laws Carbs. I just used one of their kits to repair a stripped squirter screw on a Ford tri-power carb. Not easy - best done on a drill press or a verticle mill to get hole reamed centered and straight. Hole is reamed out and an insert is pressed/locktited in that has threads and the fuel slots. Site has a lot of neat stuff.
